Macau, China. Feb 2013. Under the Portoguese control from the 16th century, the sovereignty over Macau was transferred back to China on 20 December 1999. China guaranteed 50 years of high autonomy to this special region. The economy boom happened after stopping Stanley's Ho casino monopoly in 2001. The territory attracted tens of billions of dollars in foreign investment, transforming Macau into the world's largest gaming center. Gambling in China is prohibited.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Feb 2013. Olympic stadium. Designed by the famous architect Vann Molyvann it was completed in 1964. This complex has been used as execution site during the Pol Pot regime era. After the Khmer Rouge all the facilities fell into disrepair till 2000 when it was redeveloped by a Taiwanese firm.
